How It Works
SNIP (Spay/Neuter Initiative Partnership) Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic specializes in high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for your pet dog, cat or rabbit.
You may schedule your pet for surgery by filling out the scheduling form under FORMS and bringing it to SNIP Clinic Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. or you may call the clinic at 704-799-7647 for an appointment.
SNIP Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic accepts credit/debit cards or cash. A current rabies vaccine is required for your pet. You must show a copy of your pet’s rabies certificate prior to surgery or a rabies vaccine will be administered. Other vaccines are available to your pet at the time of surgery as well as heartworm testing for dogs and feline leukemia testing for your cat.
Please make sure your dog or cat does not eat or drink anything the night before surgery. No food is allowed after 10 p.m. and no water after midnight. (Rabbits are allowed water and food up until the time of surgery.)
Your dog should come into the clinic on a leash and your cat or rabbit should come in a pet carrier. (Rabbits must have food available to them up until the time of surgery, so please include food and water in your carrier.)
Your pet will be ready to be picked up at 5:15 p.m. the same day. Post operative instructions will be given to you by a veterinary assistant or technician when you pick up your pet. Any additional services or medicines will need to be paid at the time of pick-up.
If you have any concerns or questions about your pet after its surgery, please call SNIP Clinic right away. We will have you come in with your pet for a re-check if necessary. If your pet is in distress over the weekend or after clinic hours, call your regular veterinarian or go to the After Hours Emergency Clinic closest to you.
SNIP Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic is proud to serve area rescue groups, shelters, humane societies and other animal advocates by offering transport services to these groups in our surrounding counties. These animals spend the night at the Clinic and then are transported back to their home county the next day.
